We wanted to create a place where chai could do what it’s always done in our lives - bring people together. That idea led to our cafe in Berkeley, and eventually to packaging that same chai so you can make it at home too.
Our hope is that when you make chai, it’s shared - with close friends and family, or people you’re just getting to know.
That’s what we’re building toward, one cup at a time.
takes me right back to the karak tea i grew up on in karachi and dubai, which has been so difficult to recreate in the us. added bonus — it's foolproof, unlike my many DIY attempts.

i'm so picky with my chai — most are too cinnamon-y and lack depth. this hits all the spots. the spice balance is spot on, and with some cake rusk it transports me back to my nani's house in pakistan.

i'm obsessed with chai. obsessed with making and drinking it. the kadak is creamy, delicious, and now part of my daily routine. better than i remember from my childhood in india. please open a store in marin — there are a lot of us indians here who need this.
